Communities

So encourage each other and help each other grow stronger in faith, just as you are already doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Communities are vital to the life of the Cross Church and provide many great opportunities to
"Share life with friends and find friends for life."

Communities meet once a month over the course of a 4-month season, followed by a 2-month break.  Unlike traditional small groups, responsibilities are equally shared between Community members and groups rotate after each 4-month season.  This structure makes groups enjoyable for everyone involved and gives you and your family the chance to meet lots of new friends!

WHAT MAKES COMMUNITIES UNIQUE?

intergenerational

Most Communities contain households from
multiple generations
which cultivates
mentorship & discipleship.

Children are important, active participants
in Community Gatherings.

limited size

Most Communities consist of
3-4 households
which creates
deeper intimacy
among members.

shared responsibilities

Each household within a Community will
share roles & responsibilities
which makes Gatherings
less stressful & more enjoyable.
